Marine VHF monitoring, transcription and alerts
Dynamic Radio Systems listens to marine VHF radio around the Chesapeake Bay, so you don't have to keep a radio on all day.
Receivers at marinas around the Bay pick up marine VHF voice traffic. Our system transcribes what it hears and, for each customer, decides what matters to them. Customers then get:
- Alerts by text message or email when traffic matches what they asked for, such as their marina's name, a vessel, a bridge opening or an urgency call.
- Summaries of a channel's traffic every few hours or once a day.
- A searchable archive of transcripts with the original audio, in a web dashboard.
Our customers are businesses on the water: marinas, towing and salvage companies, harbor masters, yacht clubs, sailing schools and boat yards.
Not a safety service. Dynamic Radio Systems is a convenience tool. It does not replace a proper radio watch, and it is not connected to the U.S. Coast Guard. In an emergency, use VHF channel 16 or call 911.
Text message alerts
Customers who choose text alerts receive messages from Dynamic Radio Systems about radio traffic on the channels they monitor. Message frequency varies with radio activity and each customer's settings. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. See the text message terms and our privacy policy. We do not share or sell mobile numbers or text messaging consent with anyone for marketing.
